Pick the tick
The Tick is the Heart Foundation's guide to help you make healthy food choices quickly and easily amongst foods of their type. The Heart Foundation's Tick can only be used on approved products, which have been independently tested to meet strict Heart Foundation nutrition standards.
New Zealand beef and lamb displaying the Quality Mark and the Heart Foundation's Tick has less than 5mm visible and less than 10% total fat.
The Heart Foundation states women can include 100-150g of lean meat and men 150-200g of lean meat in their diet per day.
