Terms and Conditions

The purpose of Mad Card is to offer special discounts and promotional deals to customers of The Mad Butcher who are issued with a Mad Card and which are not available to other customers of The Mad Butcher. In applying for and using your Mad Card you agree and are deemed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Please Note The Mad Card is currently only available at the Onehunga store in Auckland.

GENERAL

1. Mad Butcher Holdings Limited (The Mad Butcher) will provide you with your Mad Card. The Mad Card issued to you cannot be transferred to someone else and remains at all times the property of The Mad Butcher. Applying for and using your Mad Card is free.

2. Only individuals may be Mad Card holders and The Mad Butcher at its sole discretion may decline to issue a Mad Card to an individual.

3. The Mad Butcher reserves the right to suspend or terminate, without notice or liability:
(a) the Mad Card scheme.
(b) your right to use or hold a Mad Card at any time for any reason including:
      if you fail to comply with these terms and conditions; or
      if you supply any misleading or false information to The Mad Butcher when applying for or using your Mad Card.

4. You may at any time terminate your right to use or hold a Mad Card by giving written notice to The Mad Butcher.

5. You must be a resident of New Zealand to be a Mad Card holder.

6. The Mad Butcher may, from time to time offer special promotions to The Mad Butcher’s customers rather than specifically to Mad Card holders. Special terms and conditions may apply to those promotions.

HOW IT WORKS

7. The Mad Butcher will notify you from time to time of special discounts and promotional deals available to Mad Card holders.

8. Your Mad Card entitles you to the advertised in-store discounts on marked products. You must present your Mad Card at the time of purchasing The Mad Butcher’s products in order to receive the advertised discounts or promotional deals.

9. The number and type of products available using your Mad Card may vary from time to time and from store to store. The Mad Butcher reserves the right to change, alter or amend the Mad Card terms and conditions and the discounts and deals available to members at any time and without prior notice. Any changes made to the terms and conditions will be posted on The Mad Butcher website: www.madbutcher.co.nz

10. The Mad Butcher is not responsible or liable for lost, stolen or damaged Mad Cards. The Mad Butcher reserves the right to charge a fee for each replacement Mad Card requested.

PRIVACY AND COMMUNICATION

11. Mad Butcher collects and holds your personal information as part of issuing you a Mad Card. In doing so, The Mad Butcher will comply with its obligations under the Privacy Act 1993.

12. The Mad Butcher will use your personal information so it can provide you with information relating to the benefits of being a Mad Card holder and for its own marketing and promotional purposes. The Mad Butcher may provide your personal information to Hampsta NZ Limited and to companies working on The Mad Butcher’s behalf (such as agents who send out communications to you on its behalf) but not to other third parties. The Mad Butcher may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law.

13. You may decline to give The Mad Butcher your personal information in accordance with these terms and conditions but if you do The Mad Butcher may not accept your application for a Mad Card.

14. You have the right to access your personal information held by The Mad Butcher and to update your personal information from time to time. If any of your personal information The Mad Butcher holds is incorrect or you wish to contact the Mad Butcher about your personal information, you may contact The Mad Butcher at PO Box 17474, Greenlane, Auckland 1051 or by email at: shandall@madbutcher.co.nz.

15. It is your responsibility to ensure the information you provide to The Mad Butcher is correct at the time it is given and is updated should it change. The Mad Butcher is not responsible for any lost or delayed correspondence sent to you by The Mad Butcher.

16. Upon receipt by The Mad Butcher of your application for a Mad Card you are deemed to have consented to receiving correspondence from The Mad Butcher (and its partners who are provided with your personal information) by email, text message, post or facsimile.
